Cam Holmstrom
Founder and Principal
Cam is proudly Red River Métis, born and raised in Kenora, Ontario. He spent a decade working on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, working for three different Members of Parliament. He has extensive experience working in numerous portfolios, including in the policy development process. He also has extensive experience working with parliamentary processes, an expertise in parliamentary procedure and the development of legislation.
Since leaving Parliament Hill in 2018, he has been working in the government relations and public affairs space. He has supported clients in a range of sectors, including agricultural, Fintech, natural resources, energy, information technology, Indigenous governments, post-secondary education, labour, and non-profits. He has put this experience to work in support of clients like Agnico Eagle Mines, Xplore Inc., the Egg Farmers of Canada, Dun & Bradstreet, Fertilizer Canada, PayPal, Growcer, and Consumer Health Products of Canada.
Cam is a trusted voice and a sought-after political pundit, appearing regularly on CTV News Channel, CP24, SiriusXM Canada Talks, CityNews Radio nationally and CFRA Radioin Ottawa, and print throughout the country. He has worked on more than a dozen political campaigns at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels, including three leadership campaigns. He started his professional life teaching in Northwestern and Central Ontario.
He later moved into the federal civil service, working in program administration, including the management and administration of employment and training programs, while working closely with applicants and service providers. Cam is a graduate of Lakehead University, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and a minor in History, and a Bachelor of Education. He is married to his better half, Allison, and is father to their daughter Lorraine.
